Feb 20, 2025: Blacky is still taking oral medication because her liver values are still not good. Her diet should be controlled but hard to do with a streetie who loves to scavenge and multiple households who love to feed her! Sept 12, 2024: In August Blacky suddenly suffered from severe liver damage. Her values were indicating organ failure. She probably ate something very toxic. Rajlakshmi, Rahul and Anna are taking her to the vet for drips plus oral meds and special diet. She is responding well to the treatment and overall as happy and active as always. But it will be a long recovery period. Fortunately the liver can regenerate, so we keep our fingers crossed.
